Used a coupon, as the previous room we had during our stay had a MAJOR water issue (couldn't take showers because when we turned on the shower faucet, it wouldn't turn off (!). In addition, the tub was clogged, so it kept getting higher and higher... we called the front desk immediately and they sent maintenance, but even they had a difficult time. We ended up having to check out early. When we checked out, the woman at reception said there was nothing they could do (even claimed we had booked through a different online service, which we had NOT done). She seemed just lazy and didn't want to deal with our issue. My husband called a week or two later to speak to a manager and they sent us a coupon for a free stay another time. This was the stay & I must say, the manager on duty (12/10) was exceptional. She was professional, kind and completely made good on their commitment... putting me in a very nice room, with excellent service. We will now return!

Charming is an overused description of inns but the Colonial Inn is, in fact, charming. Walking to the rooms takes you through a warren of rooms, tavern, and restaurant. The Inn is right in the middle of Concord, with restaurants, shops of all sorts, and excellent coffee a very short walk. The village is, of course, historically important and a tour by bike, car, or on foot is easy to do from the Inn.

Very charming! Steeped in history; built in 1716, just think of all those who have walked these halls before us! Within easy walking distance to the main center of town, shops, dining and cafes, cemeteries, library and quiet neighborhoods. There are two dining facilities on the property. Townspeople are friendly.

The historic property is furnished and decorated to the timeframe of the American Revolution. It’s not a typical hotel. It’s an experience. The on-site restaurants and tavern are amazingly adorned with artifacts and art of the day yet there is modern comfortable seating.

Charlene

The location is fantastic for visiting Concord,Ma and the surrounding area. Having parking right behind the hotel is very convenient. The restaurant in the hotel has great food but is a little pricey. The walkability from the hotel to the rest of Concord is outstanding.
